1998

Founds Monty Mobile from a single office in Beirut, providing roaming and messaging services to emerging Middle Eastern carriers.

2003

Secures first tier-one operator contracts across North Africa and the Gulf, establishing Monty Mobile as a credible international partner.

2008

Crosses the one hundred signed operator milestone. Value-added services become the flagship product line.

2015

Leads the acquisition of Comium, a distressed West African mobile carrier - the first full mobile network under Monty Holding. A major milestone marked the growth of Monty Mobile and expansion into fintech ecosystems.

2017

GSMA selects Monty Mobile to host WAS6 in Marrakesh, attracting over 1,000 telecom executives from around the world.

2019

Launches MontyPay, a global payment gateway extending the group into merchant acquiring and cross-border payments.

2021

Launches MyMonty, a consumer neobank with EU, UK and African licensing - multi-currency accounts, cards, and remittances.

2022

ROCCO selects Mountasser Hachem as one of the top 25 most influential people in the global telecom industry.

2024

GSMA selects Monty Mobile to host WAS19 in Istanbul. Launches Monty eSIM for global travellers. Upgrades Comium from 2G to 4G+ in six months.

2026

Monty Holding spans 40+ subsidiaries across 19 countries. The group now operates across telecom, fintech, real estate, agriculture, and capital advisory.
